Latin America

Latin America

Bushbaby is very excited to launch its new Latin American Programme, featuring the best that this wonderfully diverse and endlessly fascinating continent has to offer.

If you are considering your first visit to Latin America, maybe with children, you might want to look at our pages on Costa Rica as there are some great ideas for family travel. Renowned for its wildlife and stunning scenery, it is a nature-lover’s paradise. It’s also the perfect destination for thrill-seekers with a very well established adventure sports offering.

For culture, where better to head than Peru, with its ancient civilisations, fantastic trekking and dramatic scenery. We have some fantastic itineraries featuring Machu Picchu and The Sacred Valley, as well as the Peruvian Amazon. Alternatively, we can put together a wonderful tailor-made trip, exploring lesser known areas and incorporating luxury boutique and character hotels. Keep an eye on our website as we will be publishing our Peru programme in the coming few weeks.

For the experience of a life-time, a trip to the Galapagos Islands is a must. Follow in Darwin’s footsteps and explore these unique islands which offer you the opportunity to see birds, mammals and reptiles unique to this region, all in an incredibly beautiful and dramatic setting. We offer 5 and 8 day cruises on small and mid-sized yachts, or if you prefer to be land-based, we can arrange island-hopping, an increasingly popular way of seeing these wonderful islands. Details to be added to our website shortly, but please contact us to find out more.

Over the coming months, we will be expanding our Latin American programme to include exciting itineraries to Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil and Chile. Please enquire for further information in the meantime.

For the Riviera Maya in Mexico (a wonderful area full of jungles, ancient ruins and a Caribbean coast line) please see our Caribbean Regional Page.
