Montana & Wyoming

Montana & Wyoming

Montana & Wyoming

Named after its mountains, Montana covers a huge area shaped by massive glaciers, molten lava and inland seas. Here we feature a fantastic Ranch, ideal for those seeking an active experience without compromising on luxury.

It also the gateway to the oldest Park in the U.S.A. founded in 1872, Yellowstone (although much of it lies in Wyoming), home to animals including grizzly and black bears, bison, wolves, moose, elk, bighorn sheep, pelicans and more. The other striking feature of Yellowstone is its geothermal features, fueled by the ongoing Yellowstone Caldera, the largers supervolcano on the Continent, especially the Old Faithful Geyser. Montana also features its own Dinosaur Trail for those interested in happenings many millions of years ago.

Wyoming is known as The Cowboy State having been home to Buffalo Bill Cody and Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. Visitors today also have the opportunity to see a genuine Rodeo events throughout the dusty months of Summer in Jackson Hole, Cheyenne and other towns. Set in the heart of the Rockies, it offers a wondeful, rugged setting with prairies, forests and rivers to add to its mountain ranges. In addition to Yellowstone, Wyoming is home to the Grand Teton National Park, where travellers can experience a ‘safari style’ adventure in a vehicle with pop-up roof and local scientist on board to guide you as you seek out the local wildlife.

In Winter this is also a stunning region to visit with many snowy adventures to be had in addition to wildlife viewing (although the Bears we be off hibernating!).
